We got this message from Kristine about a week ago and wanted to share it with everyone. She has been having a wonderful time, learned a lot about music, and made a lot of new friends. She keeps working hard, even though it has been really hot over there. Kristine told me this morning that besides the first couple of weeks, which were way too hot, she is really enjoying the weather and the AC :) One thing that she could use prayers on, she got sick last week and she still is not 100%, so we are praying she will feel better soon. Thank you all so much for your concern and support!!

"Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying a
lovely summer! I am already three weeks in to my Interlochen summer camp
experience! Half way through! I have been having a lot of fun here, making lots
of friends, learning about new things, growing as a musician and as a person I
believe. My week day normally consists of orchestra rehearsal in the morning,
individual practice, Alexander Technique, chamber rehearsal, and then dinner and
free time! There are so many concerts and art shows to go to here to support
friends, and they are so good! We have had a couple of amazing thunder and
lightening storms, and a heat wave here, and now it isn't too hot, although it
is very warm. On the 4th... I didn't do anything special, but I did think of
everyone back home hoping you were all having a great day!! I have a fairly
large cabin, with 16 girls in it, all of them are important to me and when one
is gone for the day, we all notice it. I have been having a great time here! I
miss you all!!! I wish I could have two summers, one here, and one at home :)
